Had a day out in york yesterday with a good friend of mine Mal,thanks mate for a real nice day , this was taken with an infra red filter at the Yorkshire wheel

Is this the R72 making an appearance. What time of day/night is this Silbo. Wonderful motion and stillness captured here.

silbo: yes indeed this is the R72, shot in brilliant sunshine with a nice blue sky,took about ten shots to get it just as it was stopping

Great image, Silbo, really like it. Just the right amount of movement captured!!
Would it have been possible to crop come of the black void on the right-hand side, though?

silbo: Yes I toyed with the idea of cropping but i would have lost the flair off the carridge,ive been experimenting with leaving blank spaces in my shots
