I Went out for a night shoot yesterday,because of work commitments I havnt had a lot of time with the camera.I wondered down to the waterfront where there is a new office complex.I could hear water running and rounded the corner to see these fantastic fountains,I just stood there thinking wow,just like a kid i suppose.I would have liked a little more colour in the sky but it was getting late.

Beautiful shot silbo. i like the line of lights. I know the light on the right is a lead in but did you consider a haircut on the right hand side to remove the dark buildings.

silbo: yes i thought about it nev,but the shot lost some appeal for me,i wanted to cram as many fountains in as poss

I quite like the colour of the sky here. It really goes well with the colour of the lights coming from below the fountains. Great shot--love the composition.

I cannot take my look away from the foutains and trees.I dont think the sky plays a major role here.More colour in the sky would make the foreground less imressive..?

I agree, I don't think there's enough sky in this particular shot for you to be overly worried about it's colour. You could possibly have cropped even more of the top layer away to reduce it's impact even further. Lovely smooth, warm image silbo.

This is a lovely shot. I can see what you mean about colour in the sky but I don't think it makes a huge difference here. Great to meet you this weekend and looking forward to another meet-up.
