Walking around at the weekend I spotted this shot and thought that the graffiti was quite appropiate for what the girl was wearing,I pressume she was waiting for someone but was deep in thought..

Nice shot. Excellent composition Silbo. I am normally very hesitant to take such shots. do you ask permission before taking? I always wanted to take such street shots but never have managed to take one yet.

Hi Silbo, this girl must be about the same age as I was at the height of the punk era, way back in 78/79 and nothing much about the look or attitude has changed.There is something about her expression I can't quite put my finger on, it almost looks as if she is frightened of something. This is a super shot and I really like the colour contrast between the two halves of the photo. Regards, Neil.
