I work on the docks and when I was having a mooch around i came across this old boot, just the one. Someone must have hopped home.

It really does make me wonder when I see a stray boot/ welly/trainer lying on the ground. How did it get there and how did the owner cope without it?

The boot looks as if it's about to tell a story! Great picture.

Good composition and nice colours...wonder what it would look like in B&W.
Maybe good subject for a theme here on shutterchance: "things that we find on the street"
